Dog gone it! I haven't needed to snipe in a while, but my printer cartridge started skipping so it's time to get another. So this past week I set up a bid group. For the last 4 days I plowed thru the listings. I carefully screened out 9 items to snipe and loaded them up in my bid group.

So tonight the first auction in the group ended. And wouldn't you know it, I WON! Eek Awwww...MAN! The very FIRST one! How disappointing! Wink

I created ANOTHER bid group and reloaded some of those cancelled snipes with some really lowball bids. Well, I SHOULD have an extra, don't you think??! Wink

The skipping printer cartridge just bit the dust and I received my won cartridge last week, so I'm good to go! Meanwhile I haven't been able to win my 2nd backup cartridge (out of about 15 snipes or so) as I planned, so I guess it was good I won that first bid-group snipe after all! Big Grin

I will be Jabber. I will send you a paypal invoice Razz

Actually I was pretty happy to get both of them for around that much. Surprisingly enough, if I bought them in the store I would be paying that much (thats shipping included) so it didnt bother me at all.

Now if I can just get this autographed one I will be laughing. Its hard to put a price on it at the moment coz no one knows its worth - might be worth nothing, might be worth something someday.

Thank you, Puppy! What a lovely Malamute!

There were a couple of Mals at our dog training class last week, but they were very small. Over here we seem to have been losing size in the breed lately.

Onieda saw her first Bullmastiff and wasn't impressed - she drew herself up to her (not very big) height and barked at it in her little puppy voice... The Bullmastiff was not all that impressed! Smile

I'm trying to get rid of the image that the title of this conversation brought into my mind....

Being "Bummed" is not a concept that most speakers of UK English would announce on a forum - well, not THIS sort of forum, anyway!

Squeaky, in the U S it just means darnit, oh heck , etc.! Wink
