I can't delete a snipe I won

I have won LOTS of snipes through your wonderful system, and I now have a problem. I placed a snipe last night and won it. No problem - except I can't delete the snipe. Under status is red wording saying "placed successfully", but it won't let me delete it. What is going on? ? ? ?
