When we snipe,with seconds left in an auction,and a proxy bid in higher than our initial snipe, is there time for sniper to enter another bid? In this example assume our max sniper bid is higher than the max proxy bidder.

You only get one snipe thru AS. If it’s the highest bid, you win. If not, you don’t.
Do you mean if your snipe is not high enough to be placed? You can change, cancel, etc. your snipe until the last three minutes. At that time, your snipe is readied to be sent to Ebay and locked.

By the time you find out your snipe was too low and there's a higher proxy bid it's all over red rover.
Unless you set your snipe for 30 seconds or more (and why would you?), and have a very quick computer and download speed, the auctions over.
