I think he's talking about the "unfairness" of sniping, which doesn't give other bidders much of a chance to respond to a bid once it's placed. This is viewed by non-snipers as being somehow unethical, which is just their way of saying that they're sorry they didn't think of it first.

Grandma always said I had a little of the devil in me. I just never knew it would be brought to life here.

Then again, there are those out there that choose to snipe the old fashioned way, whether or not they know about AS.

I still do. I really only use AS for times when the auction ends at some ungodly hour of the night or when I'm going to be away from my computer at the time the auction's set to close. It's the absolute best backup insurance you can get, no doubt about it!

I have never had any issue about the morality of sniping. High bid wins. I remember first time I was sniped, got me a little hot. BUT if I had bid my true top $, it would not have happened. That physiology is what wins auctions for me now. Most people just don't bid their top$.
If I really want something, I do, and I win...most of the time.

Before I discovered A.S., I would frequently manually snipe...but I never could get as close to the end of an auction as I can with AuctionSniper...I have been using 7 secs...and it works well for me.... I, like Robert don't see sniping as a moral issue...I DO think there is a moral issue with sellers and buyers who aren't honest in their transactions...

I have a different perspective!

By ?sniping" an auction I'm actually doing the other bidders a favor. I keep them from getting caught up in a competitive frame of mind where logic is thrown aside in favor of just "winning" at any cost!

Frankly, I'm one of those bidders who like to win no matter what! AS saves me money too

Cooper, I hope that wasn't a serious post! Hopefully, you read the rules and conditions before signing on.

But, anyway, the first three snipes are free...and there are opportunities to earn more free ones later.

After the first three, you are paying mere pennies to ensure that you're winning an auction that you really want. Is it worth a few cents for that?!? You're darn straight it's worth it! And, generally, my winning snipes have come in far below my max bid.

So...as far as I'm concerned, it is worth every penny; only you can judge for yourself if your pocketbook can handle it.
