I tried to set up a Snipe and was advised I needed to give a credit card number or transfer funds via PayPal. Transferred funds early yesterday and still not allowed to set up.

To quote AS Support Staff's Sara B., on July 7, 2002: "It takes 3 days because we have to log into our account at paypal, and manually look at each payment to see who is sending it. It's not something that can be automated with a computer like paying with a credit card can be."

"... PayPal doesn't get credited instantly because someone here has to go and log in on paypal. Then read the persons email address, then find their account here, then type in the amount they're paying.
"And then you got the people sending in 27 cent payments when paypal charges us 30 cents so we get $0 so we have to refund them and let them know why etc.
"Basically we do paypal payments 5 days a week. Sat-Wednesday. None on Thursday or Friday. So next credits should show up Saturday evening for Wednesday night -> Saturday afternoon payments that were made."

Saturday-Wednesday is usally within 24 hours. Thurs/Fri wont be done until Saturday. So 1-3 days.
All payments through about 2pm today have already been credited for example. That would include ones made between Sunday morning and then.
