I'm brand new to AS. Have already used it once and won. But I don't understand quite how it works. On eBay you can state a maximum bid amount, and it will automatically increase your bid incrementally. What difference does it make if you place your maximum bid amount on eBay or on AS? In either case, if your maximum bid is highest, you will win, right? Or can you sneak in with a lower maximum bid in the last few seconds?
