Hi,

I need to know what will be the final amount i pay for an auction if i win.

Do i pay my maximum bid price that i have entered with AS, or does it automatically take it down to the lowest price necessary to win the auction.

For example. A shirt is selling for £50, my max AS bid is £100 but at the close of auction the next higest bid is still £50. Do i pay £100, or does AS mean i pay the next winning bid increment (i.e. £2), so i pay £52 to win?

Can some one help please.

Thanks

Dan.

Great,

Many thanks mate. So that means (sorry for pointing out the obvious) that you can essentially put in what your absolute maximum price/bid is, and forget about it. You may end up paying the maximum, but if the bids dont reach that far, you simply pay the lowest price necessary to win the bid.

Many thanks again,

Dan.
