AS bids at the last moment as if it was you.

Ebay's 'PROXY' system allows others to nibble away at your bid.

what if someone else uses AS or a similar service, on the same auction -- who goes first, or last, and does AS try to keep bidding till times up?

Typically the sniper with the longest lead time, which can be beneficial incase of tie bids.
