How does charging work?

I found out about auctionsniper on G4TV.

I'm a little confused as to how I get charged for this service. Say I snipe a DVD that costs $4.10 and the shipping is $3.95? How much do I get charged by auctionsniper for the services? Also, if shipping is taken into account, what about when you get special deals on shipping when you buy several items from the same buyer?

You are charged according to the ending auction amount if you win the auction, which will probably be lower then the snipe/bid amount.

(Expanding on your question.)

AS won’t charge you for the shipping cost. Also, in your example, since the closing price is less than $25, AS will charge you $.25.
