how do I check a item listing from item no. (ebay)

Hi, I would like to check what an item bought by somebody on ebay was, by using the item no listed in their feedback, anyone know how to do this ?

Type the item # in the search field & click search. If the item is fairly current it should bring it up. You may get a message saying it is no longer in their database depending how long ago the auction closed.

it just comes up item not found so I assume they no longer keep the details in their system, thanks for the help though
