Highest bid didn't win. | Auction Sniper

I had a snipe for $104 and lost to a bid of $103.50, because the bid increment was not enough (???). Besides creating bid groups, what other strategy is suggested to be successful? Are the bid increments based on the starting price (which I can then project out towards my target price) or is it subject to the last price (which leaves me in a hole)?

Thanks for the response...I checked the Tips sheet and that helps a lot. Live and learn.

Luckily, it wasn't a one shot deal. Plenty of that item to bid on from other vendors.
