Puppy, is the a fine or what if they are caught ? Or, is it one of those things that is pretty hard to police?
Well, it's not really against any law to have a dog in a mall, so no... no
fine for pretending. They are just thrown out and asked not to come back.
I suppose if they came back anyway, that would be trespassing, and could be
hauled off for that. It's fairly easy to spot a dog that's just a pet, if
you know what to look for.
Denying a genuine working dog access carries a $10,000 fine. The business
and persons involved could also be sued for civil rights violations... That
could add up to some serious dollars.

Burr, Puppy! It will be around 50 at night here for a few days, but into the 70s in the day. I'm planning a trip to Indiana yet this fall so I am hoping for Indian Summer. I did live in Michigan for a while and well remember snow in October!

dusting of snow around Detroit in October, but certainly possible.
