I was afraid this was too obscure. In the TV series "Kung Fu", one of the masters called David Carridine's character "grasshopper". My intent was to show that I'm only a "student", and not a "guru". Pretty silly, hey?

It wasn't too obscure -- note my reference to "kick," which must have been too obscure.

Little sidenote about David Carradine... an aquaintance used to work on the set of Kung Fu... he remembers when Mr. Carradine - a bit egocentric (but you might have known that already) - wasn't beyond picking up a handful of dirt and throwing it at the cameras when a scene wasn't shot the way he thought it should have been.
