Ok, some of you may remember I sold a very large post master's desk the beginning of June and had some trouble contacting the seller. Well we finally talked and he was to come and pick it up. I STILL HAVE IT!! He paid for it with paypal and even tho it took two weeks to clear (?) I have been paid. Now I send him emails and he never responds!! What's up with this? He paid for it but isn't even answering or emailing me to get it picked up!! (his phone and address are a business. the phone number doesn't work. ????) how strange!

MG, yes, I do remember the desk! WOW! Sounds like he is dead or broke or ran off with another woman or ran off with another....well, anyway, you need to try to write him snail mail with a signature requested, giving him x amount of time to pick it up or it is back for sale. You are not a storage co. I would say 90 days from date of purchase is more than fair. BTW, is he active on Ebay still?

Good question Mrs. M, I'll have to check that out. It's just so weird that he paid alot for it and isn't contacting me to pick it up. I have gotten some emails from him so I know that he has my information. But I haven't heard back since July.
No, no mailing this thing. It's huge.He only lives about 4 hours away. And in the auction it stated "pick up only". i did offer to meet him part way for a small hauling fee.
You just hear so much about people not paying, but paying and then dissapearing is just so strange.

That *is* strange. But like M said, maybe he's dead. Don't think that's ever come up before on this forum. Definitely good for the profit margin. Will that require an additional listing fee should the buyer be departed?
