I really want to win an auction, but the seller has two auctions that are closing a half hour from one another. I have already done my job of rising up the auction price before considering trying to AS. So what is the best way to win the auction?
Swipe on the first and see what happens, then go back and do the second if I need to?
Also what are the bid increments for $500? And then what are they for over $1000?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I'm pretty new here, but I remembered seeing this in another thread....

Thanks for helping.

Yes, the increment indicator will increase

So, it looks like the bid increment's $10.00 above $760, and $25.00 above $1,000. What I DON'T know is if it's still $10.00 between, say, $500.00 and the $760.00 in the example. Frown

Hope this helps!
If you had used that little "search" icon at the top of this page, and looked for "bid increments" you would have found this:

eBay Bid Increments

Maybe this could be copied or printed out:

Current price
$0.01 - $0.99 = $0.05
1.00 - 4.99 = 0.25
5.00 - 24.99 = 0.50
25.00 - 99.99 = 1.00
100.00 - 249.99 = 2.50
250.00 - 499.99 = 5.00
500.00 - 999.99 = 10.00
1000.00 - 2499.99 = 25.00
2500.00 - 4999.99 = 50.00
5000.00 and up = 100.00

Anyway, if I read your question correctly it appears that what you need is a bid group folder. That enables you to bid on one item after another until you win one, and then it stops bidding. Use that little "search" icon to find out what a "bid group" is, and how it works. Smile

I won the auction that I was worried about and I wanted to say thank you again for all the tips and this wonderful forum!
I was almost outbid at 25 and then again at 10 seconds, if I hadn't used auction sniper I would have lost.
Also, now how do I pay auction sniper???

Take care,
Sarah
You get 3 free snipes. After you use up your free snipes, consider giving AS your credit card info. You can pay them with Paypal, but it's a manual process to apply the credit to your account, and takes 1 to 3 days. Credit card info is entered on the bottom of "Modify Account" under "My Snipes" tab.

By the way: You only use your free snipes, or pay AS, on snipes that you actually win.
