Hello! Lookin' for catagory breakdowns on e-bay

Greetings! I am new here, and I do not jump the gun asking questions, but....I am so frustrated and I figure someone here may just have the answer I am looking for!!

Long ago, in days of old when e-bay was only a babe....I remember saving several pages that listed specific catagory breakdowns, like a flow chart, sorta, that went all the way down to the nitty gritty. I remember it being like this:
All> all things that begin with W > widget>
(then would seperate to)
Special Widgets ~or~ Not so special widgets...
(seperate to)
Special Widgets> Big special widgets ~or~ Little special widgets...AND...Not so special widgets> Big Not so special Widgets~or~ Little Not so special Widgets .....etc.etc and so on and so forth. ( i know the above was confusing, but the real page was really easy to navigate and see and it was super specific)

I know that e-bay has changed some catagories around, and I remember going thru an "automated" drop down type cat. chart when LISTING stuff, and i know that they have that horrible catagory breakdown page that you click on each seperate catagory and when it opens it is enough to make you go blind as you scroll thru it...but for the life of me, I can not seem to figure out where this other, easier page was! I do not quite remember if hey were real links on the page, but more like a list format that you could cut and paste and would take you to really specific places using the breakdowns as search words and such. I remember saving the page(s), but I also remember saving them only cause they were always deeply hidden somehow, but much easier to use than the "other" pages that I think they had then, too.

It must have been, like, three or so years ago by now, and I no longer have the links, and I have scoured the net, ebay, and other list groups searching for a reference to them and get nothing.

I did use the search here in these forums, but came up w/ nothing, maybe cause I am not so sure i am using the right words to even find a thread about something like this here.

If someone could be so kind as to either pass alomg the links, or just even confirm they did exist, I would be eternally thankful, just to even confirm that I am not just crazy!

Thamks in advance for reading this whole mess, and for any clues to what I am looking for. I suspect that even if the pages themselves are "old" that the info on them may still be of some service.
