hi, can't figure out why i'm having so much problem using auctionsniper? have never had problems before.

1. the "my snipes" page won't load, keep getting a "Server Error in '/' Application" application

2. can't get "searches" to work for me either...when i type in the specific seller's name to search, lots of other sellers' items come up too. when i key in the exact title of the item as per the ebay page, the item i want doesn't come up, but loads of other items do

Sorry, I can't help with the first problem, but maybe the second? A couple of suggestions you've probably already thought of...

Try using Cut and Paste to bring over the seller's name, in case you're missing an underscore or something semi-invisible.

Are you putting "Quote" marks around the item title when you search for the whole thing? If not, then it's looking for individual words, not the exact title.

Can you give us the seller's name and/or the auction title so we can try to duplicate it?

The reason you are getting site errors is because AS, in its wisdom, appear to release updates to the software whilst still under development. This isn't necessarily a bad thing if the users (i.e. us!) are informed but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Good news - there is a solution to both your problems.
1. Click on the USA flag and the my snipes page should work - it's broken for me when I click on the UK flag and AS support have confirmed that I need to be 'American' for a while yet! Wink

2. The AS searches only seem to work in simple form - as soon as you get 'Advanced' they break. Again, AS support have told me that they are concentrating their efforts else where for now. Therefore, use the eBay searches until further notice.

If the above doesn't solve your problems then log a support call via the Help Tab at the top of the page...

Mrs M - a PC is called the 'client', the 'Server' is at the other end of the wire and probably unaffected by your switching on and off. Support people always tell you to do that when they've run out of ideas as to what the problem is! Wink
