I'm dealing with a poor businessman. Hopefully paypal will get my money back. And hopefully Ebay will help me with the feedback he left. I know they don't like to ever remove feedback, but the seller lied and left retaliatory feedback. I stated facts and acted properly. He acted like a kid and lied. Anyone have an idea what ebay will do about the feedback? I don't sell a lot of things, but it irks me that a childish person can leave that red mark on my reputation.
I won a tail light with Auction Sniper (thumbs up). Item number: 8000254394 Well, it was packaged poorly and it was broken in transit by FedEx. I immediately notified the seller and he called FedEx to get the claim started. He didn't file the claim right away, messed up the paperwork, and then delayed refiling it. I checked in every once in a while and he always stalled. I told him I was concerned about the wait and that I'd leave good feedback as soon as he sent the refund. He called me an @sshole and told me to act like a human or he'd block my emails. I told him to calm down and act professionally. He stalled some more. I waited and finally I notified him that the 45 day limit for a paypal claim was rapidly approaching and gave him a deadline. He didn't pay and so I filed a claim. Now he's lying on feedback and delaying the paypal investigation. Sigh........ Now I remember why in the past I've only bought used car parts in person. This seller has good feedback and a long history. Oh well, what goes around comes around. At least I hope.
Thanks, Mike.
