I've seen a couple of references on "group snipes," meaning the capability to bid on the same item from multiple sellers and have the other bids cancelled when one is won, but I don't see how to do it--nothing in help. So, HELP!
I was looking up the same info this morning,.... Go to the my snipe page and find the links FOLDERS : NEW : DELETE Click on the "NEW" and all of your lifes questions will be answered there,... The way i found this is that i did a search for bidgroups in the forum and found a little more detailed info on this topic. Phil
OK I have a question for the Auction Sniper techies. I have just used Group Snipe for the first time for a Palm pda. I found seven being offered of the brand and type I want. I listed them in a new folder called Group Snipes. So far so good, but now I noticed that two items have an auction closing date and time identical. Two different sellers, but the same ending time. I don't want to win both items, I only want one. What do I need to do to insure that I do not win two of the same items. The rest of the 5 Palms end an hour apart, so I have no problem there. Do I need to modify my responce time on at least one of the two having the same ending time. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can do the modifacations. Thanks!
Very sorry about the delay of this response. I didn't see your message until now. Bid Groups are designed not to allow any items that end within 30 seconds of each other be part of the same group. If you were able to do this, let me know!
Your best bet, in any case, is to have items end atleast 1 to 2 minutes apart from each other.
