I set up a folder for a group bid. It was not a group bid. What did I do wrong?

Don't forget to delete the bidgroup after you've used it. 
Thanks, I was going to update and correct my folder but the auctions went down before I could... Live and learn I get the stupid award.

No reason to put yourself down. Every so often, ONE of us will lose his patience. But the rest of the "Dirty Dozen, or so" will jump in and STOMP on that inpatient ONE (trust me on this). Each of us has bad days, but the collective never has a bad day. You'll ALWAYS get a fair response on this forum.
This whole AS thing is very difficult. You have to give AS your ebay ID and PASSWORD!. VERY STRESSFUL!
After learning about AS, it took me 5 or 6 months before I started using it. Several months, which looking back, I "WISHED" I hadn't wasted all that time and money.
Start small. Stay with this forum. You're no different than the rest of us, but hopefully you'll become as addicted to AS as we have. In a couple of months, you might even kick yourself for not jumping in sooner. And if you really appreciate AS, you might become a regular contributor to this forum. It's how some of us express our appreciation.
This service has made ebay substantially less stressful for me. I hope you'll experience the same.

I agree with Rick - we've all done a lot of stupid things - I know I've gotten into a bidding war (using those ever pesky proxy bids) on an item that I already had, not once but twice. So I ended up spending way to much and having three of the same item.
Then selling them on eBay at a loss.
But AS is the way to go - like Rick said much less stressful. See something you want, FIRST make sure you don't already have it, place a snipe for the maximum you're willing to pay, and sit back and relax.

I have done that with old books--I bid because it was only $3, only to find out I already have that book! Now I always check the shelves before purchasing any old book.
