Jabber & Puppy:

We need to come up with a plan to "redistribute" the nice weather in FL to our locations. We will need to keep it hush-hush though. My fingers are still cold!

Mrs. M:

Due to National Security concerns Eek (we can't have our President freezing up there in PA), we are hereby confiscating your nice weather and moving it. You should receive your new weather package shortly. Thank you for your cooperation. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin (You may want to bundle up Eek )

...for the good wishes, ladies! Big Grin It will be interesting to see what the final bids end up being. Unfortunately, I don't think I have anymore goodies like that to list. Frown

I did an insurance review last month and pretty well determined I'm worth more dead than alive! Roll Eyes Oh well....

rarely do we get humidity Jabber. Only if its overcast or hot and trying to rain. Last year we actually got a fair bit of humid weather.

Three years back was the worst year I can remember. You can see its 102 at 39 Celius now...that year we had a couple of weeks of 42-43 Celius. We live in a very produce orientated area....Fruit Growers and Dairy Cattle...neither of them were very happy.

Thats Australia for you though - we are the land of extremes. We have just come out of the worst drought on record and have already had floods since. If it isnt drought and floods its bushfires. Roll Eyes

are the main crops & produce grown in your area, Lexie? I know corn and several of the grains can tolerate the heat. Since your temps get down to freezing in the winter, that probably rules out citrus crops

Suprisingly its mostly Citrus (Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit and Tangerine) and Stone Fruit around here. There are a few crops around....Barley, Canola and Corn type things.
But mainly Orchards and Cows.

Hope you have a nice Valentine's Smile

Oh no - the other little one, with 2 new teeth, was up super duper early again this morning.

I was talking about the slack little tooth brushing smiley that was giving me an error box this morning. I thought he musta slept in.

I WISH Tyler would sleep in though!!! He has taken a fancy to the vacuum cleaner and hangs off it while I vacuum. Its hard enough lugging it around with his little fat bottom sitting on it. If he slept in I could get all that done before he woke up Big Grin

See, I'm looking for someone to say - We all want what we don't have... like my parents used to say..
The only time I had walnuts was on a few cookies at Christmas. When I came back from Japan I stopped at MY Uncles House.- When I found he lived in a California Walnut Grove - I threw out all my uniforms and filled my bags with walnuts picked free off the ground. I brought home 800 lbs as baggage. (anyone remember when airlines didn't limit you to 2 bags) ?
I had walnuts on and in everything for a year.
Had I known how hard they were to get out of the shell I would have left them on the ground.
Now I love Grapefruit and it kills me to pay a fortune for them - but I do. mory
Had to go stir my pot of Twice Cooked Chicken Soup. Going to have a fast of broth for a couple days. I was very bad Sunday and ate four shrimp - which literally lock my legs up. It seemed a good Idea at the time. So now I have to cleanse my system and Mind - what's left.
I have to tell you all, I got some great chuckles today - waking up to your chat - Thanks - Everyone .... mory

Good Afternoon Lexie... After HOURS of screaming my dad would put me in his Backpack and hike up the mountain - Some times if it was raining he would take me in the Model A Up the Mountain until morning > Dad was strict about chores -
When I would ***** out my father as a teenager my Mom used to say - Shut-up
Mory its because of your father your even - still alive. I then found new respect for him and my mother. Make a video Lexie show the clock before and after. Before you know it, you'll be showing it - Time flys...
When I sat with Mom in the Hospital we talked about this - I said I guess you finally got some sleep then...she said , I layed down for a minute .....then it was to the bathroom - on my knees - to rinse
the buckets of diapers for you and your brother. Then wash them and hang them up. This was BEFORE Pampers and Huggies you know...I said Thanks Mom ..but it wasn't enough .. mory
Mory - until recently I have used the good ole cloth nappies (diapers). Now I have been converted to Huggies.

Besides showing the video of the time spent walking the floors in the middle of the nite...Tyler will also get hit with "I went through 23hrs of labour and this is the thanks I get"...that line will never grow old Big Grin

Lexie
I gave diapers to four friends at Christmas and got four nice Thank You Cards - none for other gifts. I was seriously thinking of "Postpaid Pampers" as a gift site...
The birthing video is a great idea....and the day will come -- it always does. Transfer that to CD as tape is going the way of the 45 disc...and I have over a thousand of them.
You might be surprised about those old vinyls! They are the latest thing with my kids and their friends. (I have 7 kids, ages 31 to 13, but the 13, 18, and 24 yr. olds are the ones really into "vinyls", as they call them, now.

Of course, my husband and I finally got with technology and only have CD players now, so the kids had to buy an old turntable, then dig out our 30 year old records. Weird!
Good Morning Mrs. M and everyone..
Great sunny day but cold so am making the 50 mile drive to Wal-Mart.. Have 10 items on the list but by the time I get out I know it will be a cart full. If I get a scooter I'm there for hours but if not, I'm out fast as my legs give up. Then going to the computer store to see if they can unscramble my laptop. I've got it all froze-up somehow.. mory
Mrs M.: Great Idea, I unplugged it but never thought of pulling the battery. Its got
great IBM service but I can't talk and do it as have only one line. If I get another line, then they can take it over and service it just like it was in front of them - remotely.

I have a normal Wal-Mart 32 miles but the One I like is a Super Wal has a Giant Grocery, Giant Deli and Bakery, Eye Glasses even a McDonalds inside - & a very large Auto and Nursery even a Gas Station &,Photographer Its a whole darn town under one roof. It's about six miles from town - only thing is it just killed the town. But its open 24 hrs 7 days and that's what people want. I also like the live food Demonstrations and tasting and 60 checkouts get you out fast.
