Sorry, Mrs. M. The picture just doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Confused
How was your trip? Did you have fun? Big Grin
We've had the usual newbie complaints, but it's been fairly quiet around here.
Things are going OK. I got the classes I wanted for the spring semester. Those internet classes fill up very fast.
Welcome back!

Thank you Ford, I sure missed you guys! Well, as far as my business took me, it was sucessful, but because of my DH, I had to cancel the latter and return. He did not get along well with the sitter. Not his fault. He was very confused. I won't try it again, I think. Smile I did not take classes , of course on the net. Wish they had had them when I was doing mine. It would have been great....and cheaper??

OK, Mrs. M., I went looking for a picture. It's not Raid, but maybe this insecticide will work...

Lots of universities are offering classes on line now. They don't cost any less than if you were to sit in a chair in one of their classrooms, but it sure is a lot easier for those of us who live too far away to take classes otherwise. I'll still need to go down to Tucson and physically take two classes there to fulfill their rule of 6 credit hours on campus in order to graduate. But they do occasionally offer a week or 10 day cram course where you're literally there all day and get the work in later. *Sigh* What a way to use vacation time. But at least it'll get done. I'm 43 years old and still in school...thought I'd be done by now. Razz Oh, well. Life seldom goes according to plan. Big Grin
Anyway, it's good to see you again. Now maybe this forum will liven up a little!

I love it!! Big Grin Lol! Yes, I am sure it is easier, Ford. I know you are not surprised at how many older people are still in school. I took classes off and on long after I had my degrees. Sometimes I miss it, but I probably won't be able to take the time in the future. Believe me, what is happening in my home right now, you couldn't cram in a medical class of any kind!

If you're interested in leaving pictures or animations, one of us will be glad to show you how. It's pretty easy, and Mrs. M has a bunch of sites for free pictures.

Things are great. Reading my brains out. Great stuff, and so many more delightful books waiting. Watched a couple of wild foxes playing/courting for 20 or 30 minutes.

What about you?

Teracus,
(I know you didn't ask but)

Copy the following string:

[img*]http://www.animationlibrary.com/Animation11/Animals/Fish/circus_fish.gif[/img]

Paste it into your signiture box, and remove the "*" at the beginning. Don't leave any blanks in the string.

I'm too much of a tease sometimes, and you know how I like to egg people on. Anyway, not much to report here, and looks like much much to report there, so do you want to call it a night, or are you too wired?

Other then the foxes, nothing new.

Teracus

The code it gave you "" has to be used in your signature box.

Have you seen this icon?

On the posting page, if you look to the right of the "Instant Graemlins", you'll see "Instant UBBCode". Below that you'll see that icon. You can click on that icon and you'll get a window that allows you to paste your url. When you click "OK", the posting software will add the necessary codes.

This is a very easy way to add pixs to your posts.

It can't hurt, as long as you use some protection. You don't want to be infected. Eek

Us guys have been using that frog-kissing line for centuries.

Funny thing, I watched "Prince Charming" last night.

Hello Everybody!
Nice pictures! Big Grin If kissing a frog helps, let me know! Razz
Just thought I'd stop in to say hi because it's been a very busy week and it looks like a project will take up most of this weekend. And I'm just not sensible enough to give up.... Eek
Mrs. M.--It's good to hear you're having a beautiful day. We have blowing sand over here.
Rick--Hello. How's the reading coming? I reread Ben Hur the other week. It's a pretty good book. Have you read it?
Lexie--Could you post a picture of Tyler for us? How's he doing?
Talk to you all later!

Yes. That was one of the books in a set of Christian novels I read about 6 months ago. Did you read it for school, or were you reading it to fill in the idle 45 seconds you have in your day? Wink

I talked to someone that I thought was the ultimate fiber person. She had never heard of spinning coconut fiber. So, I guess that makes you more of a fiber nut then she is. Big Grin

Hi Rick,
She's probably never heard of trying to spin coconut because it's quite possible that I may be the only person outside of Gilligan's Island who's tried. I won a coconut as a door prize at a party and it was just sitting here. I was bored (and don't do bored very well) and decided to try. It doesn't spin well, and anyway, it would probably make a really scratchy yarn. Can you just see a sweater made from that stuff? Eek
Right now I'm working on a nice tan-colored Icelandic (breed of sheep) fleece. That's in between doing other things.
Reading Ben Hur was just for fun. Gotta have fun once in a while, you know. Big Grin
Shop--There's a flock of buzzards that lives about a half mile away. They mostly fly around near the highway waiting for road kill. But they're not as cute as your picture. Big Grin
Hello Mrs. M., can't forget to say hi to you!
Now it's back to work....

Frogs - Kissed it (using protection) didnt work Confused

Books - pffffffffff I am still reading the novel I was reading 2 mths ago. Its a great read but I have no time.

Christine - Great to see you again Smile Your wish is my command (and any excuse to show off my boy)

Sorry Mrs M for the repeat.

Lexie
Hi Mrs. M,

Hope you found some good bargains at the yard sales. Is that for personal consumption, or will some of it find it's way to ebay?

Yesterday afternoon was a riot. Reminded me of the times you, Steve, Billie and me would go crazy. I was pretty drained. I guess I'm out of practice. Sure was fun. Very hard to keep up, and posts popping up all over. Whew.

I see you're having another great weather day. Does it every get below 70 degrees? It seems that I remember that you've lived in colder climates. Do you ever miss the changing of the seasons, or are you of the opinion of "Been there; done it"?

Actually, I ended giving about everything away, but I had fun, Rick. Yes, it was lively in here yesterday to say the least! LOL! It doesn't get down past 70 very often. Maybe a day or two and up it goes again. Yes, I have lived in the UP of Michigan, and many other places that got cold. I really like the six months of winter here, but the summer is worse than cold to me!
