Hi Lexie,
Yes, it's been a busy day. There's plenty of homework, and I got the swamp cooler drained and cleaned out, ready for winter. (My least favorite job.) But we're supposed to get down around freezing tonight, so it had to be done.
I think I'd like to get one of those Tasmanian devils and put it in the front yard. It would probably do a great job of keeping the neighbor's cats away. What do you think? Razz
There's no sign of Rick or Mrs. M. Rick must still be involved in his "jury duty" and maybe Mrs. M. is out brewing coffee, who knows. Smile
Talk to you later!

I've been a bit selfish lately. Bad News: I finished "The CAINe Mutiny" (versus "The ABEL Mutiny"); Good News: I started "Dragon's Teeth".

Sorry Lexie, hope you forgive me for reading books about war. Eek

Christine, I think it's unfortunate that so many people read great books because they are required for a degree. Wink

Mrs. M, hope all is well with you and ALL those that you are taking care of. Confused

Not sure why the worry, but I am fine. Had to go to my youngest son's engagement party yesterday. Loads of interesting food. His wife to be is from THE Panama Zone. I enjoyed it. In their custom, he got down on his knee and asked for her hand in marriage in front of all of her relatives! They had to all approve. It was cute to see. Big Grin

Lol, I personally would not marry anyone! She is a US citizen, her father is from the midwest. He worked on at the canal until it was given back. Her mother is from there. Mike's first wife was from China. No comment. WinkI suppose this is in part because he traveled a lot and attended schools in foreign countries. My father said you should only marry Methodiths! So there you go, both spectrums. Smile
