Foreign Currency Auctions

I'm a newbie and didn't see this question addressed in the Q&A forum or the AS FAQ's. I hope one (or more) of you can help.

If an auction is being conducted in a foreign currency, does the Max Bid I enter on my snipe register in US dollars or in the foreign currency?

Your bid is considered to be in the currency in which the auction is being conducted -- dollars, deutschmarks, pounds, whatever. This is not a function of AS, but rather of eBay.

I don't blame you, considering that the exchange rate fluctuates on a daily basis. (EBay tracks that for you, too.)
