Look for items ending on 12/30 through Friday 1/2/2004. They are among the 3 slowest buying days on eBay all year.
Those days will have very few ebay buyers on and tons of items because eBay just did a free listing day.
If you snipe you should get some realllllly great deals. eBay sellers flood the market to save the 30 cent listing fee at a time when ther are almost no buyer on eBay and the result is the best prices of the year.

Thanks for the heads-up on the "buyers' market" days! I'm looking to pick up some items I'm interested in during this period. I also decided to hold off listing some things for a few weeks.
