Just won my first auction using AS! I used an 8 second lead time as has been suggested here, and my winning bid was placed 11 seconds before the end of the auction. Maybe I should use a shorter lead time in the future? (except for Sunday nights...)

I thought my heart was going to leap out of my chest because I REALLY wanted to win this auction and was afraid something would go wrong with my first attempt to use AS. I'm a believer now! Smile It's wonderful knowing that I can submit my maximum bid to AS and leave the house, knowing that AS will take care of the rest!

Rick,

Well, I guess I'm a little concerned that a manual sniper would have enough time to bid against me if there is still 12 seconds on the clock... That particular auction, I REALLY wanted it, so I had a huge maximum bid that would have been hard for a manual sniper to beat... but the auctions that I "sorta kinda" want, I have a harder time deciding what my maximum bid should be.... and might have buyer's regret after someone else sniped it out from under me.... Smile Plus, the more time someone has to bid against me, the more I'll have to pay! I guess it's all part of the game...

Maybe Saturday nights are super low traffic and that's why my bid was placed so quickly?

Dee
