Feedback on the "tool bar"

Having given praise at how easy to use AS really is, I do have a quibble/suggestion. The "tool bar" or whatever you call it is very confusing. In my browser (Netscape 4.7) the word "Show:" is off on the far right and not attached to any drop down box. It was not clear to me what the various drop down boxes were and why there were three. The commands that you are supposed to click do not show up as "hot" in anyway, e.g., as a button, underlined, or whatever.

Having explored and read here I think I get it, but I thought you might want some feedback on these features.
