Found a dodgy one under Viewing Your Snipes and Status Messages:

The link says a confirmation from eBay on my snipe bid? which is obviously a typo and takes you to here which is in the middle of How do I add a snipe?!

At the bottom of the FAQs there are two items:

63. What if two or more people snipe the same items at the same time?

64. What is the ideal lead time to use for a snipe?

Tantalisingly, they say nothing...

This is my perhaps my favorite misleading FAQ:

35. How come I can’t reuse a bid group?

Bid Groups are sensitive. Once a bid group is expired (the amount of items that you wanted to win, have been won), you cannot add another item. It is locked.

Best explain - that's Tosh! a bid group doesn't expire and you can add another item. It just won't place the snipe! Despite numerous requests, AS don't seem bothered...

With this particular FAQ, using “wishful thinking” might have been more appropriate than “misleading”. There may be some down side, but it might be better to change the software to function as it is described in the FAQ. Seems like this is one of the more common complaints that hits the forum (say top 10?).

My impression is that AS was developed and then left to 'cruise' with just a few 'crew' to keep on top of any changes made by eBay. Meanwhile, the main effort was put into the wondrous BM.
