Reading through this forum that I have just joined, it seems to me that it is all a question of expectations. Some people think that by paying a small percentage fee to AS that AS will wake them up in the morning, bring them breakfast in bed, whisper sweet nothings in their ear and then win every auction that they have ever sniped. As if, I have used AS for a while now (can't remember how long but least two years if not longer) and my expectation is that it will increase my odds. I have lost some items when AS is having problems but then really, if I was so desperate for the item, I should have been monitoring the item live myself as a backup (especially if I didn't snipe a high bid) One item I lost on, another seller was selling it with a buy it now for less Smile So the glitch worked in my favour. Reading through this forum, there are too many grumps who expect perfection. Ever complained about Microsoft, many glitches early on & still now, yet they are market leaders still. Guess my point is that AS is not perfect, but unless you are bidding on the ashes of your dead mother, life is too short to get riled about a few lost auctions.. Really, I have lost some bidding live as many as I have on AS and I have lived to survive another day Smile

you know, you're right...but when auction sniper is AWARE of a potential problem placing bids with ebay such as the fiasco with the blocked by seller response for pay pal accounts which was acknowledged in this same forum in May there is some responsibility for AS to notify it's clients of the potential problem and the fix...not an unreasonable expectation...I believe it's called customer service!
