Is it just me...or do ya'll get a major thrill off of sniping and winning that is better than drugs (and sometimes even better than sex)?! I love love LOVE to win an item with AS and then look at the bid history and see that there was a bidding war until I came along in the last 5 seconds out of nowhere and WON! I laugh this evil laugh and actually daydream for more than a few moments about those losing bidders. I picture them kicking, crying, screaming, cursing, and plotting to get me and it makes my heart literally swell with pure, unadulterated pleasure! hehe
Maybe I need psychiatric help...do ya think

Hi Sheila! You made me real nervous reading your post! Eek

Have you been reading my diary?!? Big Grin Big Grin

I don't know if I'm addicted to eBay, but I'm certainly addicted to sniping! It's hard to beat that feeling, as you've certainly discovered. Steve's right. Find another auction and set up your next snipe, sit back and enjoy! Wink
I too get some sadistic pleasure - especially when you see the complaints about sniping on the Ebay chat boards!! - double especiially when it was some Dad trying to bid for something for his kid and thinking it was as good as his!! Big Grin

However, I would suggest that all evil sniping queens try to get out just a little bit more!! Eek
I actually appreciate AS because I used to sit, waiting, for the last seconds to place a bid...
Heart pounding, trigger finger twitching..Just waiting to snag the item...

Although I do love the actual mechanics of sniping, I am so busy and always on the go. This presents a problem to my friends and relatives, who know when I show up I will often have to "borrow" their computer some time during the visit to snipe something.

At first they thought it was interesting, and would come and watch..Now they just find it a little irritating Smile

AS has helped give the *appearance* that I am just a normal person Smile

I prefer that to queen myself. It's a marvelous sickness. A glorious disease. I too have gloated over a few sniping successes. It's faded a bit now that I've been using AS for awhile. But still feels evilly good to check out the bid history on an item - and to see that while the commoners were quibbling over an item a few cents at a time they were totally unsuspecting of the impending swoop upon them in the last remaining seconds. Ahhhh, the most fun you can have (with your clothes on, grin!).

Hi Moose, how goes the moose hunt? Haven't visited this chat in awhile, nice to see some of the same folks are still around.

hee hee...I think it's fun to just sneak in at the last possible moment like a thief in the night and snag all the good stuff *lol* My hubby almost had a heart attack when he realized how much I was spending on ebay, until he realized that I was actually SAVING us a ton (baby due in 2 weeks)...now he cackles the evil "I-just-sniped-you" cackle right along with me *lol*
