I like to know the current bidder I'm sniping against. Sometimes this might make me inclined to raise my snipe (I don't want that moron to win, no matter what), other times I might not want to snipe against a friend. Of course this information is avaliable other ways, but it's so much simplier for AS to capture the high bidder along with the current price and display both in the report. Obviously, it the morons and friends are also using AS, this won't be terribly effective, but should cause no harm.

I came to "suggestions" to make this same suggestion. I would very much like to see the current high bidder in the "My Snipes" summary. Clicking on the auction number link to see that info is tedious. Also, those auction number links seem to go through adfarm to get to ebay, so they always take twice as long to load as they would if I click on the same auction from eBay's My eBay".

Please add the current high bidder to the My Snipes summary info. It would be most helpful.
Apoiuyt,

I “suspect” (can’t be certain) that you won’t see this. From what has been posted on this forum, AS doesn’t try to be a “watch” site. Parsing the current top bidder is just one more thing that can go wrong should ebay make some future enhancement/change.

Here’s a suggestion (you probably already thought of this): ebay provides a great “watch” function, including the high bidder. Now, ebay’s watch page doesn’t know your snipe amount. Perhaps adding your snipe amount to a “Note” for the particular auction will be an acceptable compromise. I understand that’s an additional step – but it may be the only thing you can do.

Good luck.
