Email message sent in my name without authorization

The following message was sent to seller without my knowledge!As far as I'm concerned, this is spaming. And it is signed with MY NAME AND ADDRESS! I'M MAD AS HELL! I'm not sure if it's even legal.I would appreciate a response from someone at auction sniper about this.I enjoy using the service, but if this continues, I will stop and let others know about this practice!
The address used is my home address and not my shipping address.I have to go now so I can email an apology to this seller.
Resposes welcome. Is this normal?

Don't be sorry! I had no idea this was even done, and if you had not mentioned it, I would not have known either!

Now I have to go figure out how to turn it off.

Maybe you could offer a couple of variants to the message. That particular message is just too much for me. I would not mind a plug for the service, but in a MUCH less pushy format!

Maybe just saying I won with AS, and a link to the site..

I have noticed that AS are quick to sell the benefits of the auto follow-up email type service but have not mentioned it is more for their benefit (more members). Of course we should all spot this but a bit more honesty from AS would not go a miss.

Some sellers openly say they dislike sniping in their 'About Me' pages so it puts your good feedback at risk if they get spam baltantly reminding them you are a sniper.

He is an awesome boy. I say I am lucky to have found him, but it was two years of solid research and waiting for just the right one to say, "Here I am!".

I tried to figure out a way to email you personally so as not to clog up the board Smile

I did find the preferances link, and had the AS winning bid notification that goes to the seller removed. I think it borders dangerously on SPAM.

I don't mind sharing AS info, I just prefer do do it in a different manner!
