I had a very similar problem to others last night in that all my snipes went to auction too early and thus I lost every bid.

But there is something fishy going on here, and think some it may be with Ebay.

In looking over the bid times on Ebay, the bid that beats me has earlier time than my bid every time, and every time I was beaten by the minimum incremental amount. This happened with bids I placed with 2 snipe sites, and a manual entry I made. When I entered one bid manually (not thru any snipe service) I saw myself get high bid with 2 seconds left, and then I was beaten by a bid that time stamped about 30 seconds BEFORE my bid's time stamp.

IMO, something having to do with shifting of bid end times is ocurring at Ebay.

It is not ebay timing. I started on auctionsniper a very long time ago. And since then they have changed it quite a bit. They used to place bids right down to the second, and of course I would win most of the time. Now, I think they place it at seven seconds, and so if you want to win anything, you have to overbid more than what the item is really worth. I'm looking for another snipe area. I've lost too many items . It used to be fun using auctionsniper. But not anymore. They need to change their slogan. The bid is not placed down to the last second.
The higest bid always wins (assuming it is more than 1 bid increment over the current high bid).

One key to sniping is it does NOT allow someone time to react to your bid. 7 seconds is not enough time to see a bid, adjust your bid and manually go through the confirmation pages.

If someone is willing to pay more than you, they will win every time. Even if the snipe is placed at .00000000001 before the end of the auction.
