I think the answer to the second question depends on how good the game is... Personally, I'm just waiting for it to end so I can see if the latest Survivor lives up to the hype!!!

I asked the same question about Super Bowl Sunday last week because I was thinking of listing new auctions at that time. I would think traffic might be a little slower than normal tonight, but that's my uneducated guess. I decided to hold off a week on listing my items because I not only get bids at the end of my auctions but I get them in the first few hours too.

It is curious the impact of holidays, or days like today. Shouldn't impact snipers - I don't think. But, what do proxy bidders do? Since they won't be around to nibble, do they take their best shot and place a big proxy bid? If they do, does that tend to increase the closing price?
