I asked seller a question thru "Ask seller a question" first time and i got it answered as usual. than next day, i ask the seller another question, and i got the answere, but what is strange here is that i got it answered form completely different seller! I even browsed that seller's items that he/she is sellng, and the item that i had a question was'nt there (item# is 270048900306 ).
Is it possible that the seller used someone elses account to answere my question, or did ebay massed up?

It's happened to me! Nothing evil or sinister here (necessarily!). You've just inadvertently found out the seller has more than one ebay account!

I've checked my e-mail, noted the question, hit reply which takes me to ebay, finish the reply and send it on -- all without realizing that I'm signed on to a different ebay account than to whom the question was directed! It sure confuses the heck out of the questioner (to which I'm sure you'll agree!)!

Oh, and there is nothing necessarily sinister about having more than one ebay ID either, even though ebay may not encourage it. I like to have an ebay ID that I use exclusively for snipe bids/buys and VERY occasional selling. I have another ID that I use for seaches, browsing, nibble bidding, and BINs!

What WOULD be unethical and most definitely frowned on by ebay would be if I were to use one ebay ID as a shill bidder on an item listed by my other ID! A practice I most definitely do not advocate, nor do....
Hmm - I complained about a seller called, for purposes of this example, MrLyingThief. He was fairly quickly 'struck off' as the result of various complaints...
Meanwhile, I received an email sent to me but but is started 'Dear MrLyingThief' - it was ent from eBay. Bizarre!
It asked me for a copy of the email I was complaining about (I wasn't) so I've replied telling them that they are mistaken and asking it to be escalated to a manager. Holding my breathe... NOT!
