Last night Ebay experienced an extended outage. What happens if you have placed a snipe for an auction that would end during an outage? Ebay will extend an auction if it ends during an extended outage. The extention time depends on the length of the outage. Does Auction Sniper try to place the snipe at the scheduled end of the auction. When this bid fails, is the snipe lost?
