Here’s an idea! We’ll have AS develop software so that if ebay is having a meltdown, snipes will still get placed. With a little more code, AS can probably program snipes to be placed even when ebay’s computers are turned off. Now, I’m sure ebay wouldn’t mind going off-line during regular business hours so that AS’s programmers could code and test this enhancement. I’m guessing; but a couple of months should do it. After all, ebay makes way too much money. This would also allow ebay some time to catch up on all outstanding claims for fraud.
Then, once that software’s in place, we’ll have the Russians (or better, North Korea) nuke San Jose. That way AS can have software in place so that even during Armageddon, we’ll still be able to have our snipes placed.
Regarding a more important issue: I hope everyone is in descent health, or has airfare for a one-way ticket to Switzerland.
