ebay listing mistake

Does anyone know how to change a main catagory on ebay within the 12 hours? I listed in trailer parts instead of trailer for sale and have tried and tried to edit it. It will not let me out of parts!!!! I can't find a place even to cancel my ad and start over. HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!! The auction # is 2429314920

To end an auction early, go to

If that doesn't work from this page, from eBay's main page click on "services" at the top, then on "Buying and Selling Tools" on the resulting page, then to "End my auction early" under the main heading "Manage Your Items for Sale."

Thanks again STEVE. I did finally get it reinserted into the correct catagory, but of course, now I have to pay Ebay for 2 insertions!

I tried everything I knew to just change the catagory, but to no avail.

I don't think eBay allows you to change the category. Look at it this way -- by not doing so they get two listing fees from you.

Anyway, just increase your asking price the second time around to offset your loss in cancelling the first go-round.

If it were a 5 day advertisemnt, you could quick go in and change it to a 3 day advertisement. If there were bids, I don't know how that would wwork, but I closed an item out that way recently.
