Hi, I got a question. Ebay is down and I can't get anything to show. Will AS still be able to put in the snipes??

If AS can't, probably nothing else can. I don't place backup snipes. I don't place proxy bids. AS does all the work.
Sometimes we can, and sometimes we cant when eBay is down. It depends on which parts of their system are down. Last night they claimed it was just the viewing of items. It didnt mention bidding.
Just another good read reason to use us. We can bid even when you cant get to the eBay item to do it yourself
If I was a seller with an item closing during that hour last night I'd be ticked. On the buyer side though it's a great time to snipe because you dont have any of the normal competition you'd get at the end of auction, unless you are battling another sniper.

Used A.S. loads and its never let me down before. It didnt bid last nite, presumably because eBay was down. i really, really wanted this item and was gutted when i woke up this morning without a win. I recognise its not A.S. fault, as my friend used a different agent to bid on another item without success, i guess i just want to suggest to anyone else if you really want it, then its worth placing a lower "security" bid manually. You may pay more in the end as people have time to bid against you, but its better then not winning at all IMO.

Yeah, Canny, I agree. Sometimes when I feel like I couldn't stand to lose an item I'm bidding on I'll put in a manual bid while I can and suffer the counterbidding consequences. Just did that a few days ago on something I hadn't seen on eBay before in 5 years of looking. I wasn't willing to wait another 5 years. Now watch -- they'll start popping up all over eBay!
