Several weeks ago, I used AS to snipe an item that was available for shipping within the UK only. I had previously checked with the seller and they agreed to send the item to Australia if I were the winning bidder - I used AS and was successful - bid went ahead no problems.

Last night I attempted to bid on another item where the seller was only prepared to ship within the US. I obtained his consent and AS attempted to bid 9 seconds before the auction close but the bid was blocked due to the seller's auction listing stating he would only ship within the US. Ebay must have done some sort of enhancement.

Just now I attempted to manually place a bid where the shipping destination was to the UK only. Although I did not confirm the bid, I did get a message I have not seen before stating that the seller will only sell within the UK and I should contact them before placing the bid. However, it appeared that if I did go ahead and confirm the bid then it would have accepted.

I know this is not a AS problem, but is there an AS enhancement or workaround for these situations? I know for future auctions I could ask the seller to change the listing to ship worldwide but sometimes this is not alway's possible.

Any thoughts????
