eBay Canceling Auction containing AS link??

Cliff,

Can you tell me where you've seen this?

A buyer I'm currently working with still has the AS logo inside the "My Service Box" that Auctiva places on her listings. She's still going strong.

I went to the eBay forums and couldn't find reference to such activities. Could you be more specific?

It's posted in the eBay rules regarding links in auctions as well as the eBay Listing Discussion boards (buried but in them). My AS link is the one that AS places in your ads when he opt in for the adding of the link to your ads. The Activa boxes are for paying members of the Activa service which I am not a member of. The lack of response from the help guys at AS may be an indication that they know they have a problem but have no fix. Oh well! I guess you get what you pay or don't pay for! I will Opt out in the future and no longer run the links till either they fix the problem of acknowledge there is a problem and can't fix it.

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked the seller's listings that I mentioned in previous post as having the AS logo within the Auctiva Service Box on her auctions. As of the items she listed today, the AS logo is NOT included.

I believe I will email and inquire what affected this change.

Hey, I'm now off to check out the eBay discussion boards again. Cliff, it would help if you'd direct me to a specific discussion board(s). I still have trouble finding info there--I usually feel like I've stumbled into a private party!!

Okay...enough whining. I'll just go do it, and report my "official" findings.
