Don't understand AS note

I am currently biding on a no reserve item and the current bid is $12.50 and each increment bid is 50 cents. I posted a snipe for $15.99 and just below my AS bid is a notice that says "WARNING- your max bid is below the minimum allowed for this item" There is no minimum bid listed for this item. The item number is 8360602489. Am I blind or stupid? What is AS talking about?

Hi Wilbur....just had a look at the item & I cannot see anything relating to a minimum bid, therefore note from AS appears very strange. Have you tried tech support?
Maybe put in a manual bid of $13.00 to see if it takes it. If it does then would appear a glitch with AS?

Wilbur, try canceling the snip and then sniping it again. I actually sniped it for 15.99 and it took it without a problem, showing the high bid at 12.50. I then canceled it.

Glad someone agree with me,thought I'd gone nuts there for a moment. Thanks for the idea of doing a rebid,nothing to lose at this point. Guess I'll give it a try. Thanks all,Bill
