Having purchased the mobile app for my iPhone I am somewhat puzzled as to charges. Will I be charged if i use my computer to place snipes or not?

Forgive me if I appear dumb, but why am I paying £8 plus for the paid version if I am expected to still pay a commission upon winning!
I thought that applied to the free version with the paid for version being exempt of charges.
If I am still expected to pay commission can someone tell me what the paid for version offers over the free version!!!!

Perhaps someone from support (they’ll have “AuctionSniper Support” in their title) will answer your post. Otherwise, the rest of us are just users and lack the knowledge and professionalism that someone from support will have.

I understand you pay if you win using the free version of Auction Sniper, but does the same apply for those of us using the paid (£8plus)version of Auction Sniper.

I'm sorry about the confusion surrounding this matter. The only mobile app we currently offer through the App Store is free to download and, as the other contributors to this thread have mentioned, you are only charged snipe fees for items that you win as described on the following page:

Since you mentioned that you paid more than £8 for a mobile app that is designed to place bids on eBay, I suspect that you purchased a similar app that is not actually affiliated with our service.
If you use the contact method that is provided within the app you purchased to reach the Customer Support team of the Developer, I expect that your request will be directed to the Developer of the app and you will be able to get an answer to your question.
