Does AS snipe AT my maximum or UP TO my maximum? | Auction Sniper

Hi there, I have a question and I can't find an answer elsewhere (e.g. in the FAQs).

Does AS snipe up to my maximum bid, but taking into account that I might be able to get away with paying much less, or does it just snipe with my maximum bid?

For example, if an item is listed at 2.50 just before my snipe is due and my maximum snipe is set to 10.00, does that mean that AS will snipe at 2.70 (or whatever eBay's minimum bid is) or at 10.00?

AS snipes your max as if it was you.

Read up on Ebay's help about proxy Bidding to see how eBay will deal with your 10.00 bid/snipe...
