I just had something interesting happen. Had a snipe in place to bid but when the eBay auction ended, it appears my bid was not placed. However, the snipe note reads "Did Not Win" as if the bid was placed.
The item was #6210985239 (Two Old Japanese Postcards.Tokyo.Japan.Boats,Trams). Note that the item did not sell for more than the minimum; my bid was for approximately twice that amount, so you would think that if the snipe was placed, the final price would have at least reflected my higher bid even if I didn't win the item.
I'm very happy with AuctionSniper but am just curious to know what might have happened. This is the first time, to my knowledge, that something like this has occurred to me.
