I know the support people have posted on several threads stating that bids can't go through if they've been cancelled, but they are.
My husband set up an AS account. I showed him how to create a bid group and add auctions to it, so that the bid group will stop bidding once he'd won one similar item.
He set up the group. In the meantime he won an auction manually. He then went back and deleted his bid group. Doing so caused a confirmation dialog asking him to confirm that all bids in that group would be cancelled. He confirmed.
This morning both he and the seller received a message that he'd won yet another auction, this one placed by AS. When we check his "recent snipes" and "Items I've Won" pages, it does NOT show this auction.
Somehow when you delete a bid group, bids are still going through the system but they are not listed in the followup. AS needs to look into this problem and also to please let us know how they plan to handle this particular situation.
We've kept the "You Won" emails, and would appreciate if support can work with us to figure out what went down.
