customizing time zone

I tried to use this feature to change ending times from Pacific to Eastern. I changed item ending next but now I show no time left field. I went back and changed to Pac time to no avail and then tried closing and reopening page. Nothing. It's hard to watch snipe without knowing time left. Switching back to Ebay defeats the purpose. Any ideas how to accomplish my original task or why time left disapeared?
