Current Price not the Same as e-bay

Hi, I am a fairly new sniper but I just love sneaking in at the last minute to get something at a good price. I have set up a snipe but since yesterday the current price on AS is not the price on e-bay. ($124 vs $143) I am worried that if the computer has this wrong ten it will screw up my snipe. Auction ends in about 4 hours. Any ideas? Has the system been doing funny things. Thank you!

AS only takes it upon itself to update your pending snipes on an occasional basis, depending how long it is before the auction closes. However, you may update your snipe listings at any time by clicking on the tiny "update items info" icon directly above your main snipe list.

Never fear, your bid will go in at the appointed time, except on Sundays when you may see it go in a bit early. That is done on purpose by AS because of the logjams of bids that come in on Sunday, eBay's busiest day and night. We advise no less than 15 second lags on Sunday snipes for that reason.
