There was about 1:30 to go before the auction ended and I could not cancel/modify the snipe.
This meant I won and auction I decided I didn't want to win!

When can I modify snipes that I’ve entered?
You cannot add, modify, or cancel a snipe if there is less than 5 minutes left until the auction ends. When the auction is about to end, you may notice that a lock will replace the Cancel and Modify links. In the event that you have not refreshed the page, and the Cancel and Modify links still exist for a snipe that is ending in less than 5 minutes, any changes made will not adhere. For reliability and performance, our bidding system prepares your snipes in advance, so you must make your changes before this time.

Do you mean 1 hour 30 minutes? or 1 minute 30 seconds?
If its the latter, then what Mrs M has provided from the FAQTANSFR's is correct.
If its 1 hour and 30 minutes, then there would appear to be a problem of some sort and I would click on the help tab to file a support case....AS support might be able to shed some light on the problem

Alrighty Jab - you sprung me. >I< made that one up after I had to put ANOTHER half used roll of TP on the holder as it appears that hubby can dismantle and fix anything electronic...but cant work out how to put the damn roll on the holder!!
