Could I accidentally outbid myself?

Hi!
If I placed a proxy bid on eBay through simply using the eBay site, but then joined AuctionBytes and entered a slightly higher bid for my snipe does that mean that eBay sticks to my proxy bid and I end up outbiddding myself and paying an unnecessarily high price?

Hope this didn't get to muddled and that someone could follow it and let me know if I am worrying unnecessarily!

Except for the timing, bidding with AS is just like bidding at eBay. In most cases, No you will not be bidding against yourself, but there are a few exceptions where the price may go up slightly.

Also note that if you do this, you will be charged a fee or a free snipe... even if you would have won without the AuctionSniper bid.
